Note: Notable works by Apengeter von Sassenlant include the seven-armed candelabra (1327) in Kolberg Cathedral, the brass baptismal basin (1332) in the Marienkirche in Lübeck, and the baptismal basin (1340 or 1344) in the Nikolaikirche, Kiel. Apengeter von Sassenlant was one of the few German brass and bronzeworkers to sign his work; he was active in Northern Germany, notably Lübeck, Rostock, Wismar, Stettin, Göttingen, and Hildesheim. |
