Yeh, Carol Heimburg (American printmaker and illustrator, 1938-1994)

Note: Carol Heimburg Yeh was born in Lackawanna, NY, December 25, 1938. She received her BA from Smith College in 1961 and her MA from the University of Iowa in printmaking in 1966. She attended the Academic de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris and Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid. She was a fellow at Yaddo and at MacDowell Colony in 1972, a Junior Fulbright Researcher in Spain (1966-67) and Senior Fulbright Researcher in Printmaking in Mexico (1983). She also illustrated numerous books published in the 1960s and 1970s. Yeh died December 28, 1994, in Hillsboro, NM. |
