Procuniar, Stephen (American painter and printmaker, ca. 1946-2006)

Note: Originally from Chicago, Procuniar was based in New York City's Soho district since 1970. He maintained a print workshop in his loft and collaborated with artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Lester Johnson, Nancy Spero, and Melvin Edwards. His work is in the permanent collection of the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University. He taught at City College in New York City, and at Rutgers University from 1970 through the 1980s. |
