Vandergucht family (English artists of Flemish origin, active 16th-18th centuries)

Note: The Vanderguchts were an English family of artists of Flemish origin. Michael left Antwerp for London before 1700; there he trained his sons Gerard and John, both of whom, like their father, were primarily active as book illustrators. Gerard was the father of at least thirty children, but only Benjamin pursued a career in the arts, becoming a painter and picture dealer.
