Eckstein, František Řehoř Ignác (Bohemian painter, ca. 1689-1741)
|
Note: Fresco painter studied in Rome, then after 1700 at the Academy Saint-Luc, newly founded in Brno. He decorated the church of the Jesuits in Lemberg with a representation of the life of Saint Peter, as well as doing some chapel frescos. "The Assumption," a wing of the main altarpiece is his most well-known work in oil. |
