Note: Fur merchant, philanthropist, and donor, born 1859 in Allegheny City, PA. Married to Nettie C. Goldsmith Naumburg. Donor to the New York Philharmonic and CCNY scholarships. He died on June 29 1928 in Montecatini, Italy. Following the death of Nettie Naumburg in 1930, the Naumburg's collection was donated to the Fogg Museum at Harvard.
