Note: Of the House of Bourbon; son of Louis, Dauphin of France and Marie Josèphe of Saxony. As patron, was under the influence of his daughter-in-law Caroline, Duchess of Berry. Worked with artist François-Joseph Bélanger to restore his apartments in Versailles to that of the style during the reign of his eldest brother, Louis XVI.
