Note: Born Reginald Vernon Harcourt, Liberal party politician who held the Cabinet office of State for the Colonies from 1910 to 1915. Only son of William Vernon Harcourt and his first wife Lady Theresa Lister, who died at childbirth. He was known as a sexual predator attracted to both sexes. Committed suicide at his London home in 1922, aged 59. Married in 1899 Mary Ethel Burns, 4 children.
