Kane, Gil (American comic artist and illustrator, 1926-2000)
|
Note: Kane was one of the masters of the superhero comic, working extensively for both Marvel and DC. He was born in Riga, Latvia and moved with his family to New York in 1930, where he grew up in Brooklyn. During the early 1940s, he worked for Marvel Comics. Later, he developed the characters of the Green Lantern, Spiderman, and Superman. |
