Note: Philanthropist, art collector, patron. Collected European paintings with her second husband, William Jaffe, among other objects. Hall was a trustee and member of the Museum of Modern Art's International Council, a benefactor of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum and Yale University (financing a scholarship in art history) and endowed the Jaffe-Friede Art Gallery at Dartmouth College. |
