Note: Azhar was one of the calligraphy students of Ja'far, although he is known to have surpassed his teacher in his incredibly elegant script. His work is demonstrated on the pages of the illustrated manuscripts, Nizami's Haft paykar (Seven portraits) and Khamsa (Five poems). |
