Note: Little is known of Lacroix other than two marble sculptures he modeled while in Rome of 'Spring' and 'Antinous' that are now at Versailles. He is recorded in 1680 working at the French Academy in Rome, however he does not appear to be mentioned in any of the records of the Academy in Paris.
