Richard, Franz (German or Swiss photographer, active second half of 19th century)
|
Note: Richard was the court photographer in Heidelberg, Germany in the 1860s and 1870s during which time he photographed Heidelberg Castle, including the Ottheinrich and the Friedrich buildings. To photograph the architectural ornamentation of Heidelberg castle, Richard constructed a tripod of 21 metres high, which enabled him to photograph every level of the building without distortion. |
