Vega i March, Manuel (Spanish architect, 1871-1931)
|
Note: Manuel Vega i March became a professional architect in 1892. He was appointed Director of the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura in 1899. He was President of the Asociación de Arquitectos de Cataluña from 1928 to 1930. He was the architect of the Asilo de San Julián de Vilatorta, the Palacio Presidencial de la República de El Salvador and the parish church of Arucas in the Canary Islands. Vega i March was also active as an author and collaborated and directed publications and professional journals. According to Solà- Morales Rubio, Cirici and Thomson, Manuel Vega i March designed the site plan for the Exposición International de Barcelona (held in 1929-1930) with Josep Puig i Cadafalch, Lluís Domènech i Montaner, Enrique Sagnier and Augusto Font. |
