Note: Peter Kaffka graduated from the Royal Hungarian Joseph Polytechnical University in Budapest in 1925. From 1925 to 1936 he worked for Budapest firms, and was in private practice from 1936 to 1940. He served in the war from 1941 to 1945 and moved to Canada in 1945. There he worked for the Ministry of Reconstruction until 1948. In 1949, he joined the firm Marani and Morris in Toronto. In 1950 he moved to Vancouver and worked for W.K. Noppe. From 1950 to 1954 he worked for S&TBP, and from 1954 to 1983 he was in private practice in Vancouver. He became a Member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia in 1956.
