Note: Vidal de Canellas, the Bishop of Canellas, was the author of the Code of Huesca, the most important law book of medieval Aragon. Written in Latin, it comprised 8 volumes, and was then expanded when translated into Aragon dialect. The book served as the chief legal source until the 15th century. |
