Union Porcelain Works (American ceramics manufactory, 1863-ca. 1922)
|
Note: Originally William Boch & Brothers, the Greenpoint, Brooklyn-based manufactory produced a wide range of wares: art pottery, porcelain tableware sets, hotel and restaurant ceramics, and Parian figures. In 1874, the manufactory hired German sculptor Karl L. H. Mueller to create models for the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition in Philadelphia. The factory closed ca. 1922. |
