Note: Born October 27, 1852 in New York City. Dodge graduated from Yale in 1873 with a Bachelor's degree. Dodge married Josephine Marshall Jewel in Hartford, Connecticut on October 9, 1875. They had five sons: Marshall Jewell, Murray Witherbee, Arthur Douglas, Pliney Jewell, and Geoffrey. He was affiliated with the lumber firm Dodge, Meigs & Company in New York City. He died at his country home in Simsbury, CT on October 17, 1896.
