Note: Yun Dongseok was a calligrapher who served as a civil official during the late Joseon period. Yun was famed for skillfully writing in seal and clerical scripts and for his vast collection of calligraphy albums. He emphasized small seal script by Li Si (?-208 BCE) and Han clerical script. He held a significant place in the history of Korean epigraphy by copying ancient Chinese inscriptions that he collected and exploring types of old letters.
