|
Note: In 1899 Hilgart formed the firm of Giannini and Hilgart, glass stainers, in Chicago, Illinois. His partner, Orlando Giannini, designed the glass while Hilgart provided technical expertise. The firm collaborated with Frank Lloyd Wright on such houses as the Frank Thomas House in Chicago (1901) and the Darwin D. Martin House in Buffalo, New York (1905). |
