Note: American mining industrialist, born December 18, 1864 in Brooklyn, NY. He married Ruth Noyes in 1899 of Montana. He graduated from Columbia University Law School and was admitted to the bar in New York. He became involved with the copper mining industry and formed the firm United Copper Company with his brother F. Augustus Heinze. He retired in Seattle, WA, where he died of a heart attack on May 18, 1931.
