Note: A descendant of an old Fairfield family, Annie B. Jennings was born in 1855 in San Francisco. Her father opened a business selling supplies to gold-miners and later invested in what became Standard Oil Company. Annie moved to Fairfield in 1909 at the age of 54 and donated property to the city for public works.
