Nardin, Ermelindo (Brazilian painter and engraver, born 1943)

Note: From 1957 to 1962, Ermelindo Nardim studied visual arts at the Escola de Belas Artes de São Paulo. At the same time, he had drawing and paintings classes with Augusto Barbosa at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand. In 1968, he held his first individual exhibition at the Museu de Arte de Campinas, São Paulo. From 1961 to 1962, he lectured wood engraving at the Escola de Belas Artes de São Paulo. In 2001, he held an individual exhibition at the Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros of the Universidade de São Paulo, during which some works of the artist were donated to the institute. |

| Portuguese ..... Gravador brasileiro. Entre 1957 e 1962, Ermelindo Nardim cursa artes visuais na Escola de Belas Artes de São Paulo. No mesmo período tem aulas desenho e pintura com Augusto Barbosa no Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand. Em 1968, realiza sua primeira exposição individual no Museu de Arte de Campinas, São Paulo. Entre 1961 e 1962, leciona xilogravura na Escola de Belas Artes de São Paulo. Em 2001, realizou exposição individual no Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros da Universidade de São Paulo, ocasião em que alguns trabalhos do artista foram doados ao instituto. |
