Hall, David (English sculptor and video artist, 1937-2014)
|
Note: Studied architecture at Leicester College of Art from 1954-1960 and sculpture at the Royal College of Art in London, from 1960-1964. In 1975 he co-organised the seminal Video Show, at London's Serpentine Gallery and the following year he helped curate Britain's first international video exhibition at the Tate. He has taught in a number of art institutions including the Royal College of Art, St Martin's School of Art, Chelsea College of Art, San Francisco Art Institute and Nova Scotia College of Art. In 2003 he was appointed Honorary Professor at Dundee University. |
