Note: Active until ca. 1886. In 1856-1857, Isaacs visited and photographed in Jerusalem and other locations in Palestine. In 1857 he published 'The Dead Sea' or 'Notes and Observations Made During a Journey to Palestine in 1856-1957 on M. de Saulcy's Discovery of the Cities of the Plain.' |
