She started in the art business in the 1880's as a clerk in the old Roebel & reinhardt store. She took over the business when Henry reinhardt opened an art gallery in NYC. In 1915 she loaded a freight car with paintings and sold them to young auto magnates in Flint, Michigan. It was through her that the Chruysler family became interested in art...
