Note: In 1915 the gallery located at 406 Milwaukee St was bought by Cecilia Schieweck, who had grown up in the Reinhardt tradition and knowledge of the art market...; "art Dealer's Funeral Rite, Miss Schieweck, 88...retired in 1946. She started in the art business in the 1880's as a clerk in the old Roebel & reinhardt store. She took over the business when Henry reinhardt opened an art gallery in NYC. In 1915 she loaded a freight car with paintings and sold them to young auto magnates in Flint, Michigan. It was through her that the Chruysler family became interested in art...
