Note: Publisher. Apprenticed at F. Bruckmann in Munich. In 1866 he was sent to NY to open a branch for Bruckmann. He exported and imported images, engravings. He returned to Germany in 1876 and opened in Munich a branch of Stroefer & Kirchner. In 1893 he moved to Nurnberg.
