Note: Born 13 November 1872; died 20 December 1945. Lyle came to Hamilton, Ontario, in 1877, and attended the art school established there by his father. He later studied at Yale Art School, New Haven, Connecticut, and at the École des beaux-arts in Paris, France, under P. Blondel. Lyle acted as an associate architect with Hugh G. Jones and Ross & Macdonald as architects on the design for Toronto Union Station, Toronto, Ontario (1914-1921). Canadian architect.
