Županský, Vladimír (Czech painter, 1869-1928)
|
Note: Studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts 1887-1928, then at the Academy in Prague. He is known as a painter and decorator in the style of art nouveau. He was a founding member of the Mánes Association of Plastic Artists, as well as co-director of the periodical Volné směry. He founded a school of architecture that was open only from 1903 to 1905. An exhibition was devoted to him at the Prague Museum of Decorative Art in 1929. |
