Note: Phillips was a fashion designer, artist, dominatrix, music manager, photographer, and actor in underground films made in downtown New York during the late 70s until 1981. She was the partner and manager of the musician James Chance, and one of the cofounders of the Mudd Club, an influential nightclub of the time. |
