Note: Born 1 September 1801. Calliat entered the École des beaux-arts in 1823 and was a student of Antoine Vaudoyer and André-Marie Châtillon. Calliat became a member of the Légion d'honneur in 1847. Calliat was the "architecte sectionnaire du 5e arrondissement", "inspecteur des travaux d'agrandissment de l'hôtel de ville", "architecte du lycée Louis-le-Grand" in Paris, and "architecte d'honneur de la ville de Paris". |
