VKhUTEIN (Soviet educational institution, 1928-1930)
|
Note: In 1918, the first and second State Free Art Studios (SVOMAS) were established by the incorporation of the old Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture with the Stroganov School of Applied Art. On 29 November 1920, VKhUTEMAS, an art school established in Moscow by the decree of Vladimir Lenin, incorporated the first and second State Free Art Studios (SVOMAS). In 1927-1928, VKhUTEMAS was reorganized and, in 1928, renamed VKhUTEIN [Higher State Artistic Technical Institute]. On 30 March 1930, VKhUTEIN was dissolved. |
