Note: American art collector, capitalist, financier, and philanthropist; Kennedy owned Emanuel Leutze's George Washington Crossing the Delaware, which he gave to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1897. Kennedy was the on the Executive Committee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He was married to Emma Baker (1833-1930).
