Note: In regards to the subject matter, at least of mythical representations, the Ixion Group is the most important group of Campanian vase painters. Their style is based on Attic vases of the later Kerch period. All of the artists in this group worked in close collaboration and thus it is not always easy to distinguish individual hands. |

| French ..... Groupe de peintres sur vase grec, actif entre 330 et 300 avant notre ère en Campanie. En ce qui concerne les représentations mythologiques, ce groupe est probablement le plus important de toute la peinture sur vase de Campanie. Le style est fortement basé sur le style attique, notamment les vases de la période de Kerch tardive. Les artistes de ce groupe travaillaient en étroite collaboration, ce qui explique l'impossibilité d'identifier avec certitude des mains différentes. |
