Wood, Wallace (American comic artist, cartoonist, and illustrator, 1927-1981)
|
Note: Wood joined EC Comics in 1950, where he specialized in science fiction, working mainly on Weird Science and Weird Fantasy comics. However, his dramatic artwork for Shock SuspenStories is considered some of his best. After the collapse of EC in 1956, he went on to work at MAD magazine. Wood also worked at DC, Marvel, and Tower Comics throughout the 1960s and 1970s. |
