Note: Italian-born artist, printmaker, and painter moved to New York City in 1952 and established the Tiber Press with Richard Miller. Tiber Press published poetry and the work of artists such as Alfred Leslie, Helen Frankenthaler, Georgia O'Keeffe, Paul Cadmus, and Ben Shahn, as well as greeting cards and calendars. Vecchi is credited with introducing Andy Warhol to the screen printing process. |
