Urban, Max (Czech architect and cinematographer, 1882-1952)
|
Note: He founded, with his wife, Anna Sedláčková, the film company ASUM-Film in 1912. In two years they produced over forty narrative films, most shot by Urban himself. Following 1910 he also acted as an architect and urbanist, and designed the first modern film studio for the A.B. Company in Barrandov near Prague. |
