Note: Italian portrait and landscape painter and teacher, active in Brazil. He studied at the Reggio Instituto di Belle Arti. He held exhibitions in Milan, Venice, Turin, Paris, São Paulo. He lectured at the Liceu de Artes e Ofícios and the Escola Politécnica. He mainly produced naturalist portraits, buy also worked with gender scenes and urban landscapes. During his career, he remained distant from the innovations of the modernist movement. |
