Letycia, Anna (Brazilian engraver, born 1929)
|
Note: Began drawing and painting studies at the Associação Brasileira de Desenho [Brazilian Drawing Association], in Rio de Janeiro. During the 1950s, she attended the course of André Lhote, and studied engraving with Darel, at the Escola Nacional de Belas Artes (Enba) [National School of Fine Arts], and with Iberê Camargo, at the Instituto Municipal de Belas Artes [Municipal Institute of Fine Arts]. She took a wood engraving course with Oswaldo Goeldi, at the Escolinha de Arte do Brasil [Little Art School of Brazil], and in painting with Ivan Serpa, with whom she participated in the creation of the Grupo Frente. |
