Note: Carrick is Edward Anthony Craig's nom de plume. He studied in Italy from 1917 to 1926. He was chief assistant and collaborator of his father, Edward Gordon Craig, from 1917 to 1927. Carrick founded the first film school in England in 1938; in 1982 he wrote "Baroque Theatre Construction: A Study of the Earliest Treatise on the Structure of Theatres by Fabrizio Carini Motta, Architect and Scene Designer at the Court of Mantua 1676." Carrick was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a member of the Architectural Association.
