Note: A photojournalist known for his image of a mortally wounded Senator Robert F. Kennedy at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. He was twice an intern at Life magazine, then joined its staff, and later Time and Sports Illustrated magazines.His work was shown at the Smithsonian, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Awards include the Joseph A. Sprague Memorial Award, the highest honor of the National Press Photographers Association.
