Note: First Nations (Nuu-chah-nulth-Tla-o-qui-aht) sculptor and graphic artist, born in the village of Opitsat on Meares Island in Clayoquot Sound, British Columbia. Active in the Northwest Coast art movement, David has actively sought a cross-cultural dialogue with Maori artists in New Zealand, and has regularly participated in the Sun Dance Ceremony in the southwest United States. |
