Note: Colares studied at the National School of Fine Arts, Rio de Janeiro from 1965, and at the Museum of Modern Art under Ivan Serpa. He began painting, but also made three-dimensional work, and later made experimental films in Italy. He was active in New York ca. 1972-1973. |
