Agis, Maurice (English sculptor, 1931-2009)

Note: English sculptor and installation artist studied at St. Martin's School of Art, and subsequently taught there from 1964-1966. He also taught at Goldsmith's School of Art from 1967-1973. He collaborated with Peter Jones on the exhibitions 'Spaceplace I' (1966), and 'Spaceplace II' (1967). In July 2006 two women were killed when his inflatable installation "Dreamspace" was torn from its moorings by a gust of wind.
