Note: Son of Louis, the grand dauphin, Philip V. Patron of the arts, he imported Italian architects and French builders to build the palace of San Ildefonso and a new Palacio Real. He and his second wife, Elizabeth Farnese, were also collectors and founded the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando.
