Korab, Balthazar (Hungarian photographer, 1926-2013)
|
Note: Born in Budapest. He escaped the Soviet occupation of Hungary while an architecture student, arriving in Paris and the École des Beaux-Arts. He worked briefly as a draftsman in the office of Le Corbusier. He married an American and went to work at Eero Saarinen & Associates in Michigan where he became responsible for the integration of photography into their design processes. He worked independently from 1958 until 2005, when he collaborated with his son. |
