Cortor, Eldzier (American painter, 1916-2015)
|
Note: Cortor was born in Richmond, Virginia. He was educated in Chicago at the Art Institute and the Institute of Design. In New York, he continued his studies at Columbia University and Pratt Graphic Art Center. He was funded by the WPA in 1937 and by two successive Rosenwald Grants in 1944 and 1945. |
