Note: Loddiges was a German botanist and gardener who bought the Hackney, England, garden of John Busch in 1771. Loddiges commissioned John Claudius Loudon to design greenhouses for his nursery in Hackney. Loddiges published the first catalogue of the nursery's rare plants and seeds in 1777. |
