Vázquez de Segovia, Lorenzo (Spanish architect, ca. 1450-1515)

Note: Educated in the Late Gothic Tradition, he was the first to introduce Renaissance motifs into Spanish architecture. Some of his projects include the Colegio de Santa Cruz, Palacio Medinaceli, palace of Antonio de Mendoza, and the Monastery of San Antonio de Mondéjar. There are no records of him studying or traveling in Italy.
