Note: Born 20 December 1750; died 28 October 1790. Blackburn won the 1782 Penitentiaries Competition, and after this, concentrated on designing jails. Blackburn designed the Ipswich County Gaol (Ipswich, England) which was constructed in 1789-1790. British architect. |
